Reminiscences Of An Armchair Traveler... Poem by Reva Kern

Reminiscences Of An Armchair Traveler...

Rating: 4.8

Envelopes arrive from
Foreign lands
Carrying letters once held
By other hands
Expressing friendship
To this armchair traveler
With modest gifts of
A pressed flower or two
And ephemera of
Different lives
Lived in far-off places,
Expanding my horizons
Encompassing the world -
Though my house is so small.

Modest gift, flowers and letter come through envelope and reach up to a friend given by another friend from foreign land. Such an envelope motivates mind and gives immense joy. A nice and excellent emotional poem on friendship is well penned...10
