On Trial
On trial to judge,
And scrutinize these days...
Are those who speak truth.
With the evidence of it produced.
To be dragged through the mud.
By those who deceive and publicly deny,
They lie to defy rules and laws.
But many today turn their backs away,
From what is true to claim truth to be...
Too upsetting that it leaves,
Their deluded lives defenseless!
