On Valentine's Day, With Simple Words Poem by Hebert Logerie

On Valentine's Day, With Simple Words

On Valentine's Day
There will be a splendiferous feast
Chérie, with simple words
I'm going to caress your skin
With simple verses
I'm going to drive you crazy
With my velvet tongue
I'm going to surfeit you with love
With my soft hands
I am going to blush your beautiful breasts
Today is Valentine's Day
Here I am in front of you, like a harlequin
On my knees, facing you
The birds are chirping, and they are ringing
The bells. We're going to get married tonight
I feel confused, at the bottom of the barrel
I do not know if I should be ashamed
Happy, angry or unassuaged
But I know really, really
I am going to be a good husband, a great lover
Today is Valentine's Day
Here I am in front of you, like a merry-andrew
The only thing I know
Is that you and I will be happy and at peace
With my tender kisses
I'm going to hypnotize you
With pretty flowers
I'm going to guarantee you happiness
With simple words
I'm going to drive you crazy
With my sweet poems
I'm going to prove to you that I love you
Darling, with simple words
I'm going to beautify your skin.
