You were my near friend
I thought you protagonist
We lived side by side
By us a big river flowed
There was a garden on it
To gossip where we sat;
What made you opposed!
You became antagonist
That damaged solidarity
Broke long formed unity
Turned the river stagnant
And the garden barren land.

A very poetic expression of a lost friendship. It is impossible for us to please everyone. As long as we stay true to our course, life will reveal and present new wonderful persons and things. Good poem!
