Once Known Shown Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Once Known Shown

If a caring done from another,
Once known shown.
Yet no longer there,
And made aware of it.
By something one said.
Or did to do to dare.
Made the difference and reason,
That a caring once known shown,
Not to be received...
As a clue to leave alone,
What had been shown once there.
To not care either,
What is or not believed.
With a doing to be aware,
Of their caring always there...
Being taken for granted.
To know...
'That ain't gon happin no mo.'
