Once Perceived As Impossible Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Once Perceived As Impossible

I 'still' carry that chip,
That has inspired my motivation...
With steadfast initiative.
To prove that I could do whatever I wished,
No matter who said I was deluded with foolishness.

My focus has strengthen my ambitions beyond dreams.
With a lift to believe I can and will succeed at anything.
And as I've grown older that chip on my shoulder,
I'm glad I left it there to leave to help me achieve...
That which I had once perceived as impossible.
