Once Upon A Time Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time
All was light and wonderous
Years seemingly endless
Grandiose love overwhelming.

Love my purpose
But now alone
In Autumn of my days
Dreaming of what could have been.

Walking raging purple storms
That must be weathered
With loneliness harassing
Lover gone forever.
