One Day Poem by Lizzie O'Neill

One Day

I lie in bed,
Fantasy's running through my head,
I see you and me,
One big happy family,
With a house that's ours,
And a garden filled with flowers,
Children running around,
Laughter and happiness the only sound.

Then I open my eyes,
And only see morning skies,
Another dream,
Another night,
Maybe that will come true,
When the time is right.

It will. If you can dream it and believe in it - you can make it so.
