Stars Have Stories Poem by Lizzie O'Neill

Stars Have Stories

Rating: 5.0

A million stars in the night sky,
Thousands of eyes looking down from so high,
I look up and what do I see?
All those eyes looking back at me,
All them stories from years before,
Standing, waiting for an open door,
The love, the loss, the happiness and sorrow,
Stories I wander if I'll think of tomorrow,
Until the stars show their eyes once more,
The stories of the people we loved from before,
Remains just whispers in the blowing wind,
Like the stars slowly been dimmed,
But with the night sky I can see,
There all up they're still looking out for me,
Another thing I need to tell,
Look up as they're looking after you as well.
