How that phrase tortures,
'One day,
I shall show the world,
All I have inside me,
And light the path of life
With the shine of my smile! '

One day,
How that phrase delights,
'One day,
I shall sing under the stars,
And ride on a pony of white,
With the wind in my hair! '

One day,
It will all happen,

    Aisha, I like the turmoil that you associate with the concept of hopeful thinking. The level of pain and torture that we endure in our longing for that 'one day.' Very well done! !
