One Last Dance Poem by Rokket Grrl

One Last Dance

Rating: 4.0

Baby would you runaway if given the chance
But first would you stay for one last dance
To the song we first danced to so many years ago
With the lights dimmed and the music smooth and slow
My head in your neck as I smell your rich cologne
And you give me a kiss since we're finally alone
I could stay like this forever, dancing here with you
But we'll have to go our separate ways, b/c this song will be over soon
You'll leave as i cry and stand on the dance floor alone
And I'll cry every time I hear this song when I'm sitting at home
It reminds me of you and how you couldn't stay
And I'll listen to this song as I cry and pray 3
