One More Gesture Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

One More Gesture

One more gesture

Give full thought with weight
And make it tight with option
The real choice at this night
And think it as noble and divine delight

Before doing so
Go with one more idea
Parents should never be hurt
Either with insulting tone or words

It makes them sad
In mind and feel like living dead
Why should we pay in band manner?
Where as they are real creator

One more gesture
If you thrive to secure
Adopt one child
And find happiness

The god shall not only shower
Blessings with favor
You shall have your own child
If, so far, you were not shown any kindness

Mothers don't hesitate
To leave new born at somebody's gate
Or leave in garbage
Or on open road with body fully bandaged
