One's Heart Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

One's Heart

To care,
To Love,
With one's heart;
The rain! !
Being wet after walking through it.

Learning always,
On this earth;
Showers, flowers!
With the muse of the downpour of the rain.

One's heart,
With the muse of this world's child;
From slavery to the works of peace,
Learning always!
Unity with the aroma of life.

Walking along,
To play in the garden of peace;
Singing along! !
With the joy of your heart.

Green pasture,
With the peace of your mind;
The joy of your heart!
To be straight,
Following after righteous laws.
