People are labelling acts of treason,
As an economic season.
With reason to believe...
The effects of it will heal itself.
And from them soon will leave.

But there is an abundance of evidence...
This 'season' of moral decay,
And treatment of deceit...
Has made a permanent adjustment.
One to linger and believe.

An awakening to reality,
Is an activity many can not perceive...
To stay the way it is.
Since the way it is...
Has been the sign of the times.
