One Way Ticket!
One Way Ticket!
Imaginary Time machine was created by novelist H G Wells;
History, newspaper or magazine and Astrology books do
Mentally take one to the past or future and return to present,
But physically and spiritually it is impossible to do so ever!
Books were the Time machine in the past, but now Computer
Surely does that work by giving all information needed by all;
Like Time, body and spirit have one way taken in existence;
In our life, there are birth and death only but not immortality!
Actually immortality is impossible but apparently it is possible
In the forms of books, photos and videos to retrieve and see;
They are all artificially created by machines like Computer,
But physically or spiritually it is never possible to do that magic!
Scientifically we can cure a lot of diseases but not stop death;
Like Time we have one way ticket only in the world in reality!
5) so, the king became arrogant; he challenged and defeated Indra. When Indra learned about the boon, he sent ten million horses to pulverise Mount Meru. With Meru, died the king. This is what I remember on the story
4) so the king was given an alternate boon that he will live as long as Mount Meru is intact. But the king took it that he has been granted immortality, as Meru will remain intact until the end of universe, he thought..(contd)
3) I partly recollect a story from the scripts(my mother had narrated it) about a king who did tapas to attain AMARATHWA. But Lord Brahma had no power to grant it…(contd)
2) man's quest for immortality dates back to the times he started to think, I presume. But none attained it. Hindu scripts speak of 8 or 9 ‘Chiranjeevis. But they live only upto the end of Kaiyuga, the current yuga
The Time Machine" was published in 1895. Although it is just a flight of fantasy and an impossibility, one is astounded by the power of imagination of fictionist HG Wells
