Only By Calling On Your Name

ONLY BY CALLING ON YOUR NAME
Warring against the Light they will not prevail
The embroidery of the stars can only be hidden by clouds
And not defaced
And the mistrals blowing in to drown the sun
Will fail.
Have failed will fail again
To stir us from our hidden and overarching joy
That from our souls a finer fortress grows
Through all our tribulation and our toil
Until we find within us, past all disdain
The inextinguishable flame
Only by calling on Your Name.
