Only God Is Supreme And Eternal - Poem by Hebert Logerie

Only God is Supreme and Eternal

Only God of the Universe is Grand
Omnipresent and Omnipotent
Man is mortal
But God is eternal
Man is material
But God is spiritual
Man is an errant traveler
But God is the Great Lord
No religion will become a leitmotif
Which can lead us to the summit of paradise
Only God is sovereign, supreme
And omnibenevolent. I love Him
This Grand with His glory
God is good, just, patient
Pardonable and omnipresent
But man, with his ugliness
Is very naughty
Man is confused, contradicts himself
Bitterly; he jibbers, and makes mistakes
which bring grief, boredom and death
Mind you, death comes like a thief
And man is evidently wrong
But God is good, tolerant, and forgivable
He, alone, is Great and All-powerful.
God in his mercy can destroy the strong
The hypocrites, the wicked, and the Pharisees
Albeit God will never forget the atrocities
And evils perpetrated
By the son of Lucifer and false gods
God is the Dad of all dads
God alone is eternal, God alone is ubiquitous
God is alive, perfect, and vivacious
Let’s raise hands and souls
Up to the very high vault of heaven
To give honor and respect to the Eternal Being
Who is against evil, and evil doers
God is visible, but cannot be seeing
God is great, perfect, true, and wonderful
It's beautiful to worship and admire
This amazing Being, who is not a liar
I appreciate the wonders
Of This Highness. The Creator
Of the Rainbow, the Giant Baobab
Of the Universe, who is Omnipresent
Omnipotent, and Omnibenevolent
God, Allah, Yahweh is the Almighty Grand Dad.
