Onward - Inspired By The Way Forward By Robert Murray Smith

Rating: 5.0

I closed my eyes
Only darkness
Cold pitch dark
Lonely sky
No moon
No stars
No light
Saddened eyes
Teardrop
Mind wakens
Starry night
Full moon rising
Brotherly wolves
Nature howling
Peaceful dreaming

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I love it when I read a gifted poet's poetry and am immediately inspired to write one of mine own. Such was the case with this one. I am indebted to Robert Murray Smith and to a few other gifted poets on this site for your continual support and encouragement. May you forever remain blessed.

Such a great image....when one closes his/her eyes, he/she stands before the universe...A great verse, Richard.

I too love the image, M.J. Especially the way you describe it. Thanks for thinking the poem is great and for the 10.
