Opera Poem by Lamar Cole

Opera

He and his wife were at the opera.
And he found it so boring.
His wife was embarrassed when he began snoring.
His wife elbowed him in his side.
He woke up with a grin so wide.
But to him the opera was still boring.
So he fell asleep again and continued his snoring.

Ah, but one needs to cultivate/acquire an appreciation for the opera, the way Julia Roberts did in the film 'Pretty Woman'. Cute poem, Lamar!

At the end, he won And as you said, Opera still was no fun! Great way to say how very boring opera is for some. However, a sort of elaborate musical, fast actimg as a sleeping pill, with just expensive side effects. Great job, Lamar, thank you!
