Opposite Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Opposite

Ran

She started running through
The grass
Not knowing why.
Not asking why.

She just ran and ran
As if to say something was chasing her.
She herself didn't need any reason to run.
And opposite side of her, came a runner you see.

This runner just ran and ran too.
They ran past each other.
They never knew they were made
For each other.
