Optimism Poem by Airda Jones

Optimism

The insanity is draining
Flooding into my temples
Making my head grind
And now I can feel full

I've missed the madness
Cramming my conscious
Like a hundred tons of steel
That feels so delicious

The throbbing is insistent
Beating its own tempo
Each strum another wrong
But I've learned to let it go

This insanity is fulfilling
Flooding through my whole
Making my mind float free
And now I can feel.
