Orange Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Orange

The orange of sherbert,
Hit my taste buds so strong.
The orange of horizon,
Seemed a color so wrong.

It hit my mood and it swayed.
Longing for a warm and place so safe.
Wanting exalted happiness,
Then I was gifted with it.

The orange on the orange tree,
This color lit up bright.
It's color made me happy.
It was the color that was right.
