POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Note: The inspiration for this poem came to me while watch the Documentary called, Farmlands which is about a town in South Africa inhabited by only White Afrikaners. It was a fine example of order and pride of ownership where the streets were clean and organized and people lived with unlocked doors in a nation gone mad with hatred and violence. I wrote it in the Haiku style of poetry and published it for the first time on my blog today, the 7th of July,2018.It was meant to be a compliment to the preceding post of the documentary called Farmlands along with prior blog postings which give further information about what is happening in South Africa currently on a daily basis.
