Ordinary Thoughts Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Ordinary Thoughts

Rating: 5.0

An ordinary man

I am no sage or saint but an ordinary man
Do the things in simple manner and as much as I can
I need not become a person in white clad dress
I sometimes miss God’s prayer much to discomfort on face

No doubt God is mentor and savior
But that all depends on our behavior
What even if we daily visit him in temple or church
Still we will find him no where despite futile search

God does not demand any type of worship
It is really a hype and simple whip
It is only meant to be little sympathetic
To fear from almighty and be little realistic

No one may argue in favor of daily congregation
No one may even buy your appeal for superstition
You worship him honestly from inner conscience
You will find him near by and feel the presence

The world is suffering for not missing prayers
The biggest sin is loss of trust layers
You never see love in eyes of fellow brethren
This is biggest problem and matter of concern

To miss a kind eye is biggest sin
Without love you can never be keen
God clearly emphasizes on love and sympathy
You then deserve his blessings with mercy
