Other Than Reproducing What Do Yellow Jackets Do? - Poem by Ted Sheridan

I was enjoying my day outdoors
sunning my cancers and airing my thoughts
when a yellow jacket landed on my left leg
I hesitated to swat at it when another
yellow jacket landed on my right leg
I considered my options
and was getting up to leave
but then the two yellow jackets decided to mate
taking the doggy position on my lap;
where they locked in bliss
when all of a sudden, a third yellow jacket arrived….
and they were both stung to see him….
