*john Doe 3: 16 Poem by Ted Sheridan

*john Doe 3: 16

Rating: 3.0

In the Darkness
Alone
Under the investigation
Of
One
100watt bulb
Spying on me
From above
Standing
Truth to Power
Face to Face
With a mirror from my past
I trade my sanity
For the insanity of the moment
My flask drained of
Holy water
An empty voice on the P.A. declares
Once and for all
God has left the building…

One might ask oneself if God has really left the building? For God gave man the intelligence and hands to build that building, if nothing more than the material to build it out of. God gave man the materials and instinct to assemble, whether it be from brick or mud. Great write! God bless us all-MJG.
