The tunes, the songs and melodies,
Sung by our Chazan bold,
Delights the hearts of Congregants,
With Arrangements, new and old.
Fortunate we are to hear
How he invokes our Prayers,
To reach the ears of Almighty G-D,
We hope he continues on, for years.
We could attend each day or week,
To pray alone, without Leadership,
But our Prayers are enhanced by him,
Whose song ventures from his lips.
Many Chazanim have I heard,
With Choirs to enhance their song,
But Moshe Haschel, you are one,
I could listen to all year long.
May you continue to delight all
Who’ll be quiet while you sing,
And may the words you invoke for us,
Bring answers for all ~ from HIM.
