Our Path Poem by Thomas Plotz

Our Path

Hello my love, from long ago…
What have you, been up too?

What have you seen, as your serving the coffee cuisine?
Spiked with just right, amount of caffeine

People come in looking pristine, although you're clean, unspoiled and flawless
They say Hello, you say Hi, back - then make the order they gave you

It's not a job you keep forever, but fills the void, from running the road by day
Doing your, full-part time job at night, getting it right
Sleep now, it's hard to come by

As you twirl and whorl, see me, call out your name
As your revolving around the world, just the same
As the Sun revolves around you

Hello my love…what have you seen?
Without me…

Oh, how I love you so…
