Out Of Bounds..! Poem by Navod Jayasuriya

The poise of the glide in the balmy zephyr,
Strolling freely not arousing the febrile nature,
Blue beryl embedded embellished sapphires free of fear,
Dainty feet touching the ground inspiring the lustre.

The lissome bending rhythmically to the tonal palette rare,
The smooth whispering to herself, broke the silence of air,
Minutes passed tarnishing that delightful rapture,
Eventually disclosing her clandestine affair,
Many a burdens along with the closure.

Perceiving her pulchritude concealing behind the bushes near,
That moment during my Night Watch's capture,
The twelve O'clock, The Midnight Soldier.
Whirling around for a while, She then started winding down,
The gilded lass to the privileged crown.
