Out Of My Protection Poem by Jessy Liz

Out Of My Protection

I pray for sleep,
for my mind to keep
in one direction.
But the wind it blows,
from your cursing lips,
these thoughts away from my protection.

So I curse my own mind,
and my dreams,
and damn the coming storm.
Leap from ledges,
Into nothing,
But it's better than the something I can't feel.
It's better than the disinform.
