Out Of The Deep Poem by Dorsey Baker

Out Of The Deep

Rating: 5.0

He saw her coming out of the water
her beautiful body
emerging from the deep ocean
where she had felt so much at home
it is where her life had begun
Her beauty deep as the ocean itself
In the mystery of her eyes
there is an empty room
She left the hungry belly
of the ocean
with a bitter taste in its mouth
a tear in its eye
He saw her coming out of the water
the hint of a smile upon her face!
