Out The Other Side Poem by David Harris

There are those days
you know are going to go wrong
as soon as you step out of bed.
Time will begin to fly
and if you try to catch it up
the further behind, you get.
You end up wishing
that you had stayed in bed
or maybe got out the other side.
Everything you try to do
you seem to be two steps behind.
It seems to be this way
all the rest of the day.
There is no turning back
and starting again
as time won’t let you.
