Overpowering Darkness Poem by margaret atkinson

Overpowering Darkness

Rating: 5.0

deep in the utter silence, the darkness carassess me
i feel its coldness creep up like a lion creeps up on a lamb
its passion for blood like a madman, it just keeps wanting more
i find myself passionate for the utter silence of the darkness
it fills me with the desire to want, greed overpowers me
then the darkness kills me, as a lion kills it innocent victim,
and their i lay in my cold blood in the utter silence of the darkness

Darkness and silence both victimize human feelings and passions. Very well expressed. Best Wishes Naseer
