Oz In Every Colour Of The Map

Oz in every colour of the map

appears, in certain years

a floating kingdom sent to mystify

and brake our tears

no stop gap measure, oh my dears

it's God for sure

sending us secret emerald kingdoms

that we may endure

so imperfect a world.

from any chicken side yard on the earth

any cyclone may take you through

to a most enchanted view

putting politics aside

be happy for the ride

and learn to do

what you can do

by only dreaming.

they'll say I'm not with the retinue

even that I am scheming, somehow.

let me tell you

they'll say anything

to snatch your hope away

downscaling you big time.

its an odd rhyme I know

to posit it so.

you'll see.

dreaming is true liberty

held close to the vest.

but you do

what you think best.
