Painting Nature With Words Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Painting Nature With Words

Rating: 5.0

Gathering nectar, bees sing in close harmony as
Red fox pauses, listening for the barking dogs.
Beautiful Giraffe stands, head high in the sky,
Lion roars, he is king, watch him strut!
Through stretch of birches in quiet blue sky,
Soars bald eagle; clouds rest on pine tops.
Serene deep waters, peace breaths while fish swim.
All by Creator's grace, bow in Thanksgiving!
