Let a pair spins around the axis of
commitment,
Be grass to bend with winds, and defy
storms,
Be kids to laugh together, not at each
other,
Fan each other’s glow, and can each
other’s flame,
Be blind to defects, deaf to doubts,
Dumb to harsh tongues, lame to lean,
With hands to lend and shoulders to
shoulder,
With eyes wet in agony and lips, in
harmony.
With pride in what each other has.
Let them grow as others’ envy.
Lovers will do; can the married?
They must do to feel secure.
