Parasites

Its parasites eating on your flesh, it’s the fear that soon you won’t have anything left. It’s the cry I make when no one is around. It’s the sensation that I feel when I don’t hear a sound….it’s sinking in and out through me it’s begging to eat me alive and it’s growing in and to me I just don’t know where to hide…Where do you go when you know there’s something there inside…. Crawling hastily, there’s gotta be one of these clues I’m missing in me.

Trying to cut down this maze before my eyes, to clear away this plague before me. Running away as fast and as far as my feet will take me. There’s something in his eyes that make me wanna bolt, make me wanna stay but now’s not the time to sound so cliché. Do I feed the feeling, do I feed the desire, the truth is I know I’m the farthest thing from his mind….and me having him is the farthest thing from my reach. Doesn’t matter what I do, where I go, what I say….love won’t bring me clarity. This always brings me back to the same question I spend my nights asking myself……
