Don't die today
for that is not what
God nor fate
has written for you;
let no men choose
your end, your departure
from this beautiful world;
guns and bombs
are weapons for wars
not for cities and places
where homes and families
in peace and happiness bustle;
don't die today
don't let anyone destroy
the sanctity of your existence,
let them go find their moorings
if they have to satisfy
their intentions;
your streets belong to you
your tomorrows belong to you
if you have opened your door
to strangers you thought
you could trust
don't face their wrath for that;
don't let them shoot you, kill you
or make you live in fear
for yours is a life blessed by God,
no betrayer should take it away,
and dis-regard your kindness;
don't die today
close the gates of fear
let the deceiver find dis-appointment
when his intentions explode
inside his own harness of vengeance;
don't die today
don't give up your right to live full age
for life never returns once lost.
