Park Lake Pertobe In September Poem by Francis Duggan

Park Lake Pertobe In September

A freshening breeze blowing from Lady Bay
In Park Lake Pertobe such a beautiful day
The dark welcome swallows chirping as they fly
With the sun on their wings in the mostly blue sky
September in Park Lake Pertobe in Warrnambool a nice time of year
The songs of the wild birds so pleasant to hear
The park looking green after the recent rain
With such beautiful weather none ought to complain
For it's scenic beauty it is widely known
Warrnambool City has a charm of it's own
Out on Lake Pertobe hardhead duck for their food dive
In Nature most creatures have their own unique way to survive
In Park Lake Pertobe in September on a beautiful Spring day
From here Earthly Utopia cannot be far away.
