Part Of A Cult Poem by Randy McClave

Part Of A Cult

When their leader tells them to fight fight fight
And when he says there will be a bloodshed if he's not right,
Then to storm the White House to overthrow our democracy
I think and know that's all crazy.
They believe all that he says as he storms and cries
And happily they accept his hatred and all of his lies,
Then when his opponents they also mock and insult
Sounds like to me being part of a cult.

When they swallow bleach because he tells them to
When he tells them that Covid is no worse than the flue,
Then when from his belief they just die
He's not a doctor or a pharmacist, but they believed his lie.
Wherever he leads they will happily follow
Whatever he says they will uncaringly swallow,
When him they believe and a professional they never consult
Sounds like to me, it's like being a part of a cult.

When they believe his lies as the truth
When they don't care the many times he's ate the forbidden fruit,
And when for him they are bullies and judges with name calling
And when their leader is accused then they are then bawling,
When they search for or believe in facts
Instead they lie and use both verbal and physical attacks,
When they no longer act like a responsible adult
Sounds like to me, it's like being a cult.

By a bullet and hid earlobe is grazed
When by his Christian and non Christian followers he is praised,
Then when they pray and say the evil man was saved by God
Just remember because of him, two other men died that's a fraud.
When his followers wear a bandaid on their ear's in unification
Where they and their leader are together destroying democracy and a nation,
In the end the tallies point out the final result
They are all part of a cult.
