Having been told
1 had better bury fresh old
1 went to listen to new jazz
and old despair about cocky love's ruinous hold.

1 still had fun with number and rhyme
as memory assailed
and ignorant-of-indifference cocky hold
foretold all the rest in BOLD.

Part 2
1 would have been happier being controlled
had 1 been asked
not told.
