Passage Of Time - Poem by Heather Burns

Grass remains lush
forest green
if properly watered
and fed
without fades turns

petals drop from
a flower
slips softly to the

breezes catch a leaf
whirling around
casting it away

Tree limbs dry up
breaks off, falls

He stopped to weep
teared in
harmony with the
passage of time.

Petals falling, leaves on the ground, tree limbs drying up all showing passage of time. Feelings resonating. Beautifully presented. Thank you. (Report) Reply

    Time is a great healer.
But I would rather choose before having to be healed.
Sweet poem. Although with a touch of despair
    I like it.
