Passageways Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Passageways

Wandering down lengths of passageways, searching for
liberating freedom along the way, seeking new doorways, opening unlocked memories, leading them astray.

There are plenty of ideas and thoughts strangling
idly within.

Wherever life stops, standing still on edges of
eternity, new experiences open up and become reality.

Dreams forever flitting just beneath the surface, not
sure if becoming is quite within their reach.

Notwithstanding, eternally sent into oblivion if no
one waits at the end.

Tunnels of vision playing repeatedly in lines,
imagination delves seriously into distant times.

Exploding independently in bursts of color, life
continues growing ever onward to it's end.
