Passed Passing Poem by Hercolena Oliver

Passed Passing

Friends may come and friends may go,
weather changes and it may snow.
Paths traveled on are perhaps uneven,
yet true friends never stop believing
in each other and overlook imperfection
fortifying downcast mood in affection.
So taken for granted, yet so essential
is the gift of friendship quintessential.

There are days when the sky’s not clear.
Some days you’re missed more than others in year.
On occasion life is not as we’d like it to be,
but even as time passes you remain dear to me.
