I love and celebrate the 4th of July
When on that day liberty heard our nations cry
When for freedom our forefathers sought
When for our independence they fought.
4th of July is our Independence Day
For which our founding fathers did pray
They fought against the British rule
And we are still taught about that in school.
Our forefathers stood and fought for what was greater
And they fought against the British and every traitor
No more would they be ruled by a king
Freedom, freedom is what our forefathers would sing.
On every July 4th I celebrate my freedom
When our fathers marched to a patriotic glee and drum
I fly my flag and I will always salute her
As the veteran's of our country will always honor her.
I will fight and honor my country as did every fallen soldier
The pride in my country makes me bolder
And if you love our country never ignore her or take the fifth
And then never ever forget what happened on January 6th.
