Peace A Dream: Everyone Should Have Poem by Terence George Craddock

Peace A Dream: Everyone Should Have

Peace is a dream
everyone should have
Peace is blessed
prosperity compared
to devastation war

especially for the poor
as wars with crops
destroyed crops not
planted increases food
shortages supply prices

it is doubtful war
the Ukraine conflict
will end soon too
many invested
powers have conflicting

agendas future resources
are being pledged
on the bargaining table
Ukraine has already
rewritten trade alliances

the global supply chain
global wheat production
bread basket Ukraine

will produce no wheat
in Ukraine invaded bread basket
in years to come wheat

in Ukraine wheat bread basket
will be replaced with red tide
death blood male slaughtered

young lives sacrificed
in cause war profits war
because our politicians

esteemed global politicians
gather at prestige G7 summits
plan sanctions not peace
