Peacefulness Of The Desert Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Take me into the darkness of an interior desert,
moonlight hidden behind dark clouds of a coming
storm.

Stepping carefully, watching out for cacti, bob-
cats, scorpions, and rattlesnakes, lurking under
rocks and in the shadows.

Still feeling peacefulness in this desert, travel-
ing through it's absorbent atmosphere, reaching
forward, while grasping onto an essence of spiritual-
lity, taking me quietly into realms of the Divine.
