Pen - Mightier Than The Sword - Poem by Anela Mrubata

Bound by the norms of the world- I seek refuge in my mind.
Laws cast upon the greater minorities- I search for a rare paradise.
The weak and the pitiful are ignored as they cry for help.
And with paper & pen- I'll find my true self.

With nuclear bombs and wars killing the youth.
The less powerful are searching for truth.
The weak and the pitiful are ignored as they cry for help.
And with paper & pen- I'll find my true self.

Where your fate lies in the hands of a known stranger.
And politicians try to play our true makers.
The weak and the pitiful are ignored as they cry for help.
And with paper & pen- I'll find my true self.

though reflecting personal experience yet with universal theme....a good read
'a known stranger'' is good paradox.
