Pens Of Ready Scribes Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Pens Of Ready Scribes

North, nor, or, to, ton, not, hot, horn;
Lust!
Still hanging around with you.
Love, lust, life!
To the king's sons and daughters;
Love, move, glove!
To the queen's sons and daughters;
Living in the land of your muse.

South, so, to, hot, out;
Tongues!
Like the pens od ready scribes.
Love!
Bind the truth into your inner most parts;
Love!
With meekness and righteousness.

East, eat, eats, as, ate, tea, set, sat, seat;
Love!
Humour is poured out from your lips;
Honour, humour!
With the sweet muse of love.
Life!
To love righteousness and to hate wickedness;
Pass, Passover!
Like living waters.

Life!
With the ruling rod;
Love!
Like many waters;
Compassion,
Companions;
But, her clothing is interwoven with gold.
West, we, set, wet;
Over, Passover!
With the ruling staff;
Love!
I have prepared a place for you;
So, you are invited in.
