Pensive Heart Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Pensive Heart

Rating: 5.0

I had forgotten to write you earlier
In time of your sparkling beauty and glamour,
That time you were greatly famous and fabulous,
All of a sudden I remember you now
And I try to depict you with great elan,
But alas!
You are a different soul now,
With your old and wrinkled face
You have lost your beauty and glory altogether,
Elegant words cease to flow in my tranquil world,
Tears come in my gloomy eyes,
I lament grievously in my pensive heart and stop writing.
